FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT HAPPENS IN ONE OF YOUR IMPROV CLASSES?
In a very safe and supportive environment, everyone learns and plays improv games--the same games some of your favorite celebrities played, like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Steve Carell, to name only a few! After a few warm ups, everyone enjoys an evening of laughing out loud and learning something new. We guarantee that you will leave energized and in a good mood.

WHAT ARE THE AGE RANGES?
Young or old, new or experienced, improv is a great activity for all ages. Students must be 10 years old to start. Adults range from college to senior citizens. Everyone will treat each other with respect and support. Why? It's the only way improv works!

WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS?
It is fine to come to every class or just the ones you are able to attend. Each class is designed to catch up beginners or challenge those with experience. New games keep newbies and veterans equal and on their toes. So don't worry, just come and keep coming when you can. The more you play, the better and more fun improv can be, sort of like practicing music or Tai Chi. Every class will reduce stress and teach you something new at the same time.

WILL THERE BE A SHOW?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Each year, we like to put on a show, only if the players want to. You can see some pics on our Photos & Shows page. It is not mandatory at all. We do it just to have fun, to make our friends and families laugh, and to test our skills in front of an audience. But, no one has to do it.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF TAKING AN IMPROV CLASS?
There are tons of reasons to take a class with us! This website has benefits, and the science to back it up, from Forbes, CNN, Psychology Today all over the place. But personally, we have found that most folks do it because it is fun, builds public speaking skills, relieves social anxiety, develops confidence & creativity, reduces physical & emotional stress, teaches you how to really listen, and connects you to others.
